By exhibiting "A Tradition of Dance Excellence" that continues to set the standards that others may only follow. We strive to provide students with high quality dance training and community opportunities that harness passion that deem beneficial for a lifetime.
Originally changing the face of dance in eastern North Carolina, we continue to be a leading dance arts program. We are not only a hub of inspiration amongst the performing arts community, but a second home to students and families for the past 46 years and counting.

Our mission is striving to build strong, confident, and responsible dancers by utilizing our knowledge and instincts to make a positive impact on young lives in and outside the studio.
We raise the barre by providing professional and studio dance training by creating an enjoyable and nurturing learning atmosphere, implementing proper technique, performance encouragement, and healthy lifestyles.
Whether you wish to dance for fun or are an aspiring professional, we can help make your dreams come true.
Academy Classes
Our carefully designed...
Curriculum includes classes in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Tap, Hip-Hop, Acro-Fusion, and Musical Theatre for children through young adults. Classes are designed to be foundation blocks...providing our students with a fun and structured syllabus that enables growth. We also offer Pre-Professional Company programs, special sessions of Toddlers & Toes, Adult classes, Birthday Parties, and Wedding Ballroom Lessons.
Summer Studies for NCADA students includes scholarships to Julliard, Alvin Ailey, The Joffrey School, Carolina Ballet, American Dance Festival , UNCSA, Commercial Dance Intensive, and NCADA's Summer Intensives taught by guest artists. Summer Princess Camps are also provided for our younger ballerinas to help imaginations and their love for dance grow.
NCADA's Community Outreach Extensions, is an integral part of our program giving students a chance to become more involved within the community and provide entertainment as well as giving back. Our motto is "Kids Helping Kids."
We provide only the best for our students and families. We are excited to embark on a new season of dance and invite you to join us as we continue to raise the barre for our 2023-2024 season in person.
